Paris goes by many names–the city of light, the city of love, the fashion capital of the world (and of course France). The Mary Poppins of cities, Paris is practically perfect in every way. But to make Paris just even more perfect, we will introduce you to her splendor in just a single day. The adventure will begin bright and early at the Trocadéro Gardens, which offers one of the most iconic views of the Eiffel Tower. This view can only be outshone by countless views of some of the most iconic works of art in history, at none other than the Louvre museum.
Stepping back into the sunlight, we will make our way over to Ile de la Cite, where we will feast our eyes and mouths on pastries and panoramas. There, Notre-Dame Cathedral awaits, standing proudly against the Parisian skyline. Finally, we will ascend to one of the most romantic look out spots in all of Paris–Sacre Coeur in Montmartre, where artists, writers, and dreamers have left their mark. Your eyes will dance along the city’s gray-blue rooftops as the sun sets, taking in all of Paris and her beauty.

Located across the Seine River from the Eiffel Tower, the Trocadero Gardens offers a front-row seat to one of Paris’s most iconic landmarks. The Eiffel tower has never looked so ready for a photo op than from this green oasis. With meticulously manicured lawns, glittering fountains, and panoramic views of the city, there is no better way to kick off Paris in a day than here!
The Eiffel Tower, an iconic symbol of French ingenuity and art, stands majestically over Paris since its completion in 1889 for the World's Fair. Designed by Gustave Eiffel, this iron lattice tower stretches approximately 324 meters tall, making it one of the most recognizable structures in the world. Visitors can ascend the tower to various observation decks for unparalleled views of the Paris skyline, experiencing both the architectural marvel and the panoramic vistas it offers.
Ever heard of a woman with a mysterious smile? You guessed it, the Mona Lisa, perhaps Leonardo da Vinci’s most famous paintings and one of the main attractions at the Louvre Museums. The Louvre is one of most visited museums in the entire world and for good reason. From Mona Lisa’s smile to the Venus de Milo’s timeless gaze to the Winged Victory of Samthorace’s triumphant stance, you’ll surely be checking something off the bucket list.
A tiny and enchanted island in the middle of Paris, Ile da la Cite is a veritable treasure trove of charm, centuries-old secrets, not to mention some of the best glace (that’s French for the creamiest ice cream you’ve ever tasted in your life) in town. There is no better place to gaze upon the Seine and shop for the perfect souvenir.
Rising out from the cobblestones of Ile de cite , stands Notre-Dame, “Our Lady,” Paris’s most important Gothic church, not to mention Quasimodo, the resident hunchback rumored to still be lurking in the shadows. For now it can only be seen from the outside due to a tragic fire a couple years, but we can still marvel at her gargoyles and stained glass. So ring the bells, light a candle for good luck, and let Notre-Dame cast her spell on you.
Perched atop the peak of Montmartre, Paris’s biggest hill, stands Sacre-Coeur, looking over the city like a guardian angel. Ascending the winding streets of this bohemian enclave, Sacre-Coeur reveals itself to you slowly, but surely. Montmartre, historically the beating artistic heart of Paris, was a muse for the en-plein-air painters, the backdrop for the riotous can-can dancers of the Moulin Rouge, and, now, your romantic getaway.
