The third largest lake in all of Italy offers a beautifully picturesque and romantic getaway. The famous inverted Y shape of the lake is a result of the years of glacier activity and erosion from the Adda river. With a history stretching back over 10,000 years ago, Lake Como was formed in the Ice Age, when glaciers melted down to form this enormous body of water. In fact it is the third largest lake in Continental Europe (170 Km in diameter), and the deepest (410 meters at its deepest point). For centuries those on the Italian peninsula have enjoyed this natural wonder, from the ancient Romans to the modern day. Now is your chance to see it with your own eyes. What are you waiting for?

Many villas such as the Villa Balbianello, Villa Melzi, and the Villa Monastero can be visited from mid-March to mid-November. These grand and sprawling manors are filled with lovely gardens and lofty halls that are free for you to explore and enjoy.

The most important church in the entire region, Como’s Duomo was built in 1396 and is a splendid example of Gothic architecture. There are plenty of excellent little secrets and surprises to explore and discover throughout this masterful building.

This is a private tour and lasts the entire day. We recommend that you start the tour at 08:30 or 09:00.

Comfortable shoes, such as sneakers with cushioned insoles, are highly recommended for walking.
Both men and women must cover their shoulders and knees when visiting holy sites. Men may wear respectful shorts that extend below the knees.

A pair of binoculars and a bottle of water could be useful during your visit.
Feel free to bring your camera, but remember you may be requested to turn off the flash in certain sites.
If rain is expected, opt for a compact, foldable umbrella without sharp ends.

Items such as large backpacks, pocket knives, glass bottles, wine openers, large tripods, and big bags are not allowed in most sites.
Visitors are required to remove their hats when entering holy sites.

This tour involves a fair amount of walking, potentially a lot of stairs, and uneven terrain. Visitors with mobility issues may find the tour challenging.
Accessible to the physically challenged with a modified route.
Participants should ideally possess a moderate level of physical fitness for climbing and descending.

The Villas are generally not open in the winter, with a few exceptions. Please plan accordingly.
Refunds will not be granted in the event of church closure.

For a full refund, tours must be cancelled at least 96 hours prior to the scheduled start time.
If a tour is cancelled between 72 and 24 hours before the tour, only the balance amount will be refunded, and the ticket fee will be retained.
No refund will be issued for tours cancelled within 24 hours or less of the scheduled start time.
