The main temple of the area. This is what everyone came to see. It is where the oracle of Apollo would reside, waiting for visitors to bring their offerings and ask for the advice of the god of prophecy. It remains a truly powerful and awe-inspiring location, overlooking the Greek mountains all around.
The first temple that all visitors would encounter on their journey to Delphi. It was constructed in the 7th BCE. It goes without saying that this temple is incredibly old, and it is a marvel that we have traces of it.
